Liqi Ma is an accomplished director, producer, designer, and photographer based in both Los Angeles, US, and Shanghai, China. With a diverse portfolio spanning films, photography, and graphic design, she is dedicated to creating work that explores and engages with societal issues.
Currently pursuing a Master of Science in Television Production and Management at Boston University, Liqi holds a Bachelor of Science in Television, Radio, and Film from Syracuse University, with a minor in Art Photography. Throughout her academic journey, she has received numerous awards, including accolades at prestigious film festivals such as the Los Angeles Film Awards and the Cannes International Film Festival.
Liqi's professional experience includes key roles such as Assistant Producer at HTTV USA and Director Assistant at Dragon Television, where she honed her skills in production management and creative leadership. Additionally, she serves as the Executive Design Director for WeMedia Lab, managing content and social media efforts for Syracuse University’s official channels.
A passionate advocate for social change, Liqi’s work consistently highlights important issues, from personal experiences to global challenges. Through her art, she aims to inspire action and foster deeper understanding among her audience.
